NGK Powerdex AFX Wideband Air-Fuel Ratio Monitor

NGK Spark Plugs is introducing its new Powerdex AFX Wideband Air-Fuel Ratio Monitor for the performance aftermarket. This product meets the increasing demand in the market for precision air-fuel ratio monitoring tools.

Traditionally these types of tools commanded price tags that could only be justified by professional race teams and engine specialists. As technology advanced, many low-cost air-fuel ratio products emerged. Some used actual wideband sensors while others simply read OE style narrowband oxygen sensor signals and attempted to convert them to linear readouts….often with marginal success.

With the AFX, NGK now offers the most affordable wideband system to date. A flexible and rugged system complete with everything needed to get you tuning. The kit comes with a digital display control module, 13’ wiring harness, wideband air-fuel ratio sensor, exhaust boss and plug, and a comprehensive tuning manual. The tuning manual includes installation instructions and contains a detailed guide to performance air-fuel ratio tuning.

The AFX measures and displays air-fuel ratio (AFR) from 9.00 to 16.00. It demonstrates superb response and accuracy within 0.1 AFR. The air-fuel ratio information can then be utilized by the user to make fuel delivery adjustments to the vehicle’s carburetor, mechanical fuel injection, or programmable electronic fuel injection system. The desired air-fuel ratio can be achieved depending on the performance requirements of the engine or race application. This is an exceptionally useful tool for carbureted engines, where there is a lot of freedom in tuning as well as a great need for proper adjustment.

Designed originally for racing engines, today’s compact production engines can also benefit from the used of GReddy’s Radiator Bleed Tank. By mounting the tank high up in the engine compartment, you can be assured that of a fully filled system with room for air expansion, thus reducing chances of overheating due to air-lock. Block-off radiator cap included.

I definitly recommend this to High Reving SR's or KA's where cavitation can occur. This can also prevent damage to the motor when overheated, ie. Headgasket Failure.

These come complete with both passenger and driver side inners and outer tie rods.

Strengthened Tie Rod Improved durability and increased steering wheel cut off angle. This will allow for a higher steering angle at full steering wheel lock. All for a reasonable price.

Superior Durability Tein tie rods are designed to be stronger than original equipment found on the 240SX (S13 and S14). During hard sport driving, breaking and bending of the tie rods will now be reduced.

Increased Steering Wheel Cut Off Angle Tein tie rods are adjustable to give you more steering angle at full steering wheel lock. Original equipment tie rods offer limited steering wheel rotation, while Tein tie rods allow for increased rotation.

Excellent Option For Drifting Tein tie rods can be adjusted for more steering angle for when you counter steer. This will in turn create deeper drift angles.

* Tein tie rod and tie rod ends can NOT be used in combination with the original equipment tie rod and tie rod ends. (Well, actually the s14 oem will interchange with tein inner and outer but we dont sell seperatly)

Greddy Turbo Elbow SR S13/S14/S15 11920100

What can we say, this thing is awesome!

The craftmanship put into this is unreal for the price. Hand made rolled steel. The welds are done by Tig. By far the best turbo extension(elbow) out on the market that FITS the US Left hand drive car. YEP! this one actually clears the steering shaft unlike those Ebay ones which were made for Right Hand Drive models.

The best part is the diverter that is in the elbow that lets turbo exhaust gases not interchange with the wastegate gases. This makes less restriction on your internal wastegate to allow better flow and response.

Another reason why this GReddy elbow is superior to all others is that it actually included new STUDS for the turbo outlet and new hardware for downpipe. AND S13 Skinny o2 sensor owners can now retain their stock o2 sensor because it includes an o2 adaptor. Otherwise other elbows on the market make you buy a Fatty 02 sensor for an additional $95!!!!

This elbow fits ALL SR20DET Motors using T25 or T28 Turbos. Can be used with GT2871 also.

S15 Spec R turbos use a small wastegate diverter that will hit the Greddy diverter. So cutting off the greddy diverter that extrudes past the 5bolt mounting flange is needed to fit properly

The timing chain takes a beating on SR's, especially if you are high-reving your motor during racing. Last thing you need is the chain to break and cause a huge loss in your pocket. Moroso Nissan Silvia SR20DET RWD Large Capacity Aluminum Oil Pan

Finally an aftermarket oil pan that is reasonably priced! This Moroso Oil pan is HAND TIGGED in house at their Guilford, CT location. YES AMERICAN MADE!. The welds are perfect and definitly show the hard work and time that is put into making one. It is all sheet aluminum press bent and welded. Also features a magnetic oil drain plug. All hardware is supplied with this for flawless install. Stock pickup depth so there is no changes on the OEM oil pickup. There are 2 hinged baffles to allow for proper oil supply to the pickup when corning hard or drifting. The Moroso pan also allows for 4.75qts of oil to be used.

DiF Water Neck Adapter : SR20DET (RWD)

The DiF water Neck adaptor allows for the use of a water temp gauge sensor to be inputed into the upper radiator hose. Instead of either welding a bung in your radiator or installing a T fitting in the hose, this adaptor installed between the oem water neck and the head. Thus giving you a clean install and an acurate reading as it is positioned as close to the head as possible. Another great feature about this product is that it is groved to allow RTV to bond consistanly with the OEM mounting surfaces. To make even better buy, they included a free tube of RTV to complete this install.

Product Description:
The DIF water neck adapter is designed to allow an addition of a 1/8" port to the water neck on the SR20DET engine without having to cut or modify existing radiator hose(s). Each water neck adapter includes a 1/8" NPT bung, a water neck adapter, and all necessary hardware and sealant for simple installation. Each water neck adapter is CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, brushed, and clear anodized.

New Parts from Circuit Sports USA

Two new parts were recently added to the Circuit Sports line-up. CS is now offering front and rear lower control arms for the S-chassis.

Circuit Sports adjustable front lower control arms for S13/14 240SX. Adjustable FLCA's allows full adjustment to front suspension in conjunction with tension rods, steering tie rods, and camber plates to dial in their car for track and drift use. High glaze powder coat finish for durability and long lasting finish.

Circuit Sports adjustable rear lower control arms replaced OEM fixd rubber type bushings that most often is already wore and torn on the 240SX's. The adjustable rear lower control arms also allows full adjustment with the car's rear suspension links (rear traction trailing links, rear toe, and rear upper control arms) to fully work with each other in conjunction to dial in your car's suspension to take advantage on the track or drifting. Another Video of Redline Time Attack, Chicago, IL

Uploaded a video from practice at Round 3 in Chicago, IL. Had lots of heating issues during the day causing me to run 2-3 hard laps at most then a cool down lap. Overall, the track was very fun to drive and I can't wait to go back again next year. I ended up finishing 2nd place in Unlimited RWD for that weekend.

SEMA is Around the Corner!

Every year our industry gets together with vendors, buyers, and manufactures to show the new upcoming and greatest products out for the automotive scene. SEMA is held usually the first week in November. And of course, we all go to SEMA to talk "business". However during that time, no one is at the shop! That means we actually close our business for a couple days to make our way out to Las Vegas, Nevada. This year our days we are going out there is a tuesday through thursday. Since we will not be at the shop to fulfill orders, take phone calls and ship out products, we will be offering a "SEMA SPECIAL" page that will list a bunch of popular parts at COST!

But the biggest question we ask ourselves is, what products do we offer at the special price? So we decided that it would be best to hear from the our customers on what they want. ISIS Performance Products

With the extreme change in the market for performance parts, we have seen that there are two types of customers out there. The budget tuner that have limited funds yet feel the need to make changes on thier vehicle in hopes of better performance, then there are customers that buy top quality parts knowing to them the purchase is not an expense, but an investment. They are the ones that know quality over quantity. They rather buy a good part once, rather than buying the lower grade part multiple times.

However, those high quality part customers are fading out and the budget tuners are growing. We have to go with this change to be on top of the market at all times. Carbonetics....Who are they?

Carbonetics.....when you think of LSD's, you problably have in mind KAAZ, OS Giken, Tomei, etc. Now you should be also mentioning Carbonetics in that list. As a new company to the scene (2001), Carbonetics had come aboard to offer 2 lines of Limited Slip Differentials for the Nissan S-Chassis.

The first model is the typical metal differential that offers the same quality and durability as the KAAZ unit we run in our S14 Time Attack car. It's tough and gets the job done. We recommend this unit for any customer doing any type of driving as they offer this in a 2-way and 1.5way.

Now we come to their second model they offer, the Carbon! The Carbon version is one of those things that you think "Ah, that's cool, but why would I want to spend the money on it". Well, let me just put it in perspective, our time attack car will be switching to this model. The most concerning part for any race car is reliability! Having one thing break on you while you are 2000 miles away from home on a track that you are competing on and invested so much in the car just SUCKS! I rather be practicing my racing line and trying to get speeds up in corners than be in the pits scratching my head. The Carbon LSD pretty much never needs to be serviced! Just change the oil regularly and you are good to go. And since it is carbon plated as opposed to metal plates, it is virtually silent when driving. The last and finally good point to mention here is that there is less heat with the carbon which means less thermo breakdown on parts which also inherently makes the unit more reliable than the standard Metal LSD.

The New Hotness - Greddy Full Auto Turbo Timer II

With endusers wanting a smaller compact and easier to mount components, Greddy redesigned their ever so popular Turbo Timer. This Greddy Turbo Timer uses the same wiring as the old version, but now has a small user interface that can easily be mounted using velrco or double sided tape.

Designed to prolong the life of your turbocharge, while adding connivance. GReddy Full Auto Turbo Timers allow a vehicle to idle the engine for a timed period, with the ignition key removed. This conveniently allows the engine oil and turbo center cartridge to cool down properly and prolong turbo and oil life. This can be done by two standard programmable count down presets (P-1, P-2), or the GReddy Full Auto Timer can use it’s two auto timer modes (A-L, A-H). The modes estimate the driving RPM according to the vehicle's alternator signal and then recommend a count down time. A stopwatch/lap time and attack modes along with a built in voltmeter and speedometer are also standard features. Safety options for the parking brake and speedo hook-ups can be used to disengage operation if vehicle is attempted to be moved without the key. Package Deal for Electronic Boost Gauge

Greddy Boost Gauge and Stand has been added to our collection of "package deals" where we combine parts at a "package" price to give more savings to the end user. Now the Greddy boost gauge is easy to read, sized at 52mm (2"dia) and features new and improved Red LED backlighting, for a new look and long life. White face meters now have Red lettering. Also new is pressure values are displayed in standard (PSI) values.

Stand is a simple double sided tape or a four screw mount to hold the gauge down to the dash. A metal band that compresses when tightened is used to secure the gauge down to the stand. Wiring the gauge is very easy and also illuminates when hooked up to the cars lighting signal.

Brembo Brake Fluid, Legit?

Braking systems on any race car are top priority and should never be overlooked. Over the last time attack season, I played greatly with different pad compounds to suit my liking. However, through out the season I was dealing with some break fade, atleast I thought I was. It wasn't until South Carolina that I tried to switch from an "on-shelf" no name brand Dot4 Brake Fluid to the Brembo Brake Fluid. My first impressions was shocking. I had no idea a brake fluid could make such a drastic change. After getting the pads warmed up, the brake pedal feel was exactly the same! It could have been the 2nd lap or the 15th lap on the track, no matter how hard I was hammering on my brakes, they always felt the same. And consistancy makes a huge difference when trying to make the best lap time. Two Thumbs UP!!

Here is some info that describes brake fluid and Brembo's product.

Due to the extreme operating temperatures of a high performance brake system, standard 'off-the-shelf' brake fluids are not recommended. Of critical importance in determining a fluids ability to handle high temperature applications is the Dry Boiling Point and compressibility.
The Dry Boiling Point is the temperature at which a brake fluid will boil in its virgin non-contaminated state. The highest temperature Dry Boiling Point available in a DOT 3 fluid is 572 F

The Wet Boiling Point is the temperature a brake fluid will boil after it has been fully saturated with moisture. The DOT 3 requirement for wet boiling point is a minimum temperature of 284 F.

Brembo Sport.EVO 500++ Brake Fluid is a premium specification motor vehicle brake and clutch fluid formulated to meet brake system performance requirements for the street and the track. As a U.S. FMVSS No. 116 DOT3 or DOT4 blend, Brembo Sport.EVO 500 is suitable for use in cars (especially those with ABS braking systems), commercial vehicles and motorcycles for which a petroleum-based fluid is specified.
